This trash-talker is also on the dean’s list
This stat demonstrates Tyler Stone’s impact on Howard’s basketball team: In the seven games in which he scored in double figures last season, the Bison were 6-1.
Stone brings energy and toughness to the frontcourt, averaging 7.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in 24.1 minutes last season — all career highs.
“Like Damon [Collins], we asked him to score a bit more last season,” coach Kevin Nickelberry said. “Now he can get back to his role of rebounding and playing hard.”
Known as a tough guy and trash-talker on the court, Stone, who’s from Toronto, takes care of business in the classroom. The legal communications major made the dean’s list last semester.
