Meet ‘Goku’ and Jose Pena, and watch them squat

If a teenager can will himself to reach a weightlifting goal, you can put your mind to setting some attainable goals and going for them. Last week, the social media world met 17 year-old “Goku,” who conquered the iron by squatting 596 pounds like a pro.
In January, 17-year-old high school football player Jose Pena set a Texas record for squatting 875 pounds. Then in April, he smoked it by squatting 930 pounds effortlessly.
