Sim Life with ‘Madden NFL 19’: 49ers at Packers
‘Monday Night Football’: Mr. Rodgers does it again
To be honest, this matchup between the up-and-down Green Bay Packers and the struggling San Francisco 49ers doesn’t seem like it would be that competitive. But like the saying goes: “Any given Sunday” — or, in this case, Monday. You never know how Green Bay’s offense will produce with an Aaron Rodgers injury.

Top things to 👀
- Packers tight end Jimmy Graham is due for a big game, according to Madden‘s projections.
- Happy belated to the 🐐
Rice was a wide receiver for @MVSUDEVILS and is widely regarded as one of the greatest receivers in history on any level. He was drafted by the @49ers with the 16th selection in the 1985 NFL Draft. pic.twitter.com/DGU7M6nORG

Battle of the WRs
It’s game time!
- Packers cornerback Josh Jackson picked off C.J. Beathard to seal the deal.
- Graham got the Packers on the board early, hauling in a six-yard touchdown pass. On the evening, he caught seven balls for 88 yards.
- Davante Adams didn’t have the big game he turned in last week vs. the Detroit Lions, but he came through for the Pack when they needed it the most, scoring the winning touchdown. For the game, he caught four balls for 34 yards.
If Monday night’s game is going to be anywhere as good as it played out on Madden, then we should be in for a treat. Green Bay came out on top in this sim, thanks to an 80-yard touchdown drive led by Rodgers, resulting in a 3-yard game-winning touchdown by Adams with 14 seconds left in the game. The Packers leave Lambeau Field 30-29 winners.
You can catch Monday Night Football at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN and the ESPN App.
