The President and The People: A National Conversation will be shown commercial-free on ESPN and ABC and streamed online at Watch ESPN and Watch ABC.

ABC’s World News Tonight anchor David Muir will moderate the conversation about race relations, justice, policing and equality. ESPN’s Jemele Hill, co-host of His & Hers, will join Muir and the president, along with officers, parents, students and families affected by recent violence in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Minneapolis and Dallas.

The town hall meeting will also be aired on Freeform, ABC News Digital, Yahoo, ABC News’ Facebook page and ABC Radio.

After the town hall meeting, Nightline will air a special edition. ABC News’ senior legal correspondent and analyst Sunny Hostin and ESPN’s Lonnae O’Neal, senior writer for The Undefeated, will continue the conversation with members of the town hall meeting audience for a digital live stream.

With the nation on edge in the immediate aftermath of horrific events in Baton Rouge and Minneapolis, the landmark town hall meeting will address Americans who have been directly affected. The frank and intimate conversation will include many of the people whose lives have been changed forever in the last week as the nation sees these issues play out through their eyes.
