On the court for the Washington Mystics this season, point guard Natasha Cloud broke the franchise’s all-time assists record. But Cloud’s most meaningful assist in Washington has come off the court.
Cloud is fighting for gun violence reform and social change in Southeast Washington. She has met with policymakers, orchestrated a media blackout and hosted gun violence reform organizers. The fifth-year guard has found her voice and greatly impacted a community in dire need through her activism.
