Roundtable: Michael Jordan on Stephen Curry’s Hall of Fame credentials, Zion’s weight dilemma and more N-word controversy
Also: Black women in cinema and the NBA’s new code of conduct
The Undefeated’s Roundtable takes on the hottest trending topics in sports, race and culture.
This week, Michael Jordan appeared to question the Hall of Fame credentials of Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry. While explaining that Curry wouldn’t be on his dream five-man pickup team, Jordan said, “He’s still a great player … Not a Hall of Famer yet, though.” The panelists discuss whether Jordan was throwing shade at Curry. Also, it was announced on the eve of the NBA season that Zion Williamson would miss up to eight weeks after having knee surgery, and the panelists discuss whether the New Orleans Pelicans should be concerned about the rookie and his weight. The panel also picked the top black women in cinema and debated whether the NBA’s new code of conduct went too far.
