Special edition Roundtable: ‘The Sterling Affairs’ sheds new light on the bizarre reign of the NBA’s worst owner
The new podcast series produced by 30 for 30 Podcasts and The Undefeated is available now
The Undefeated’s Roundtable takes on the hottest trending topics in sports, race and culture.
In a special edition of The Undefeated Roundtable, this week’s host, Undefeated sports and culture writer Justin Tinsley, sits down with senior writer Jerry Bembry and ESPN NBA analyst Ryan Hollins to discuss the new 30 for 30 Podcasts series The Sterling Affairs. The five-part series, hosted by Ramona Shelburne, chronicles the stunning rise and fall of former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling and features exclusive interviews with former business associates, players and even his wife, Shelly.
Hollins, who played for the Clippers during Sterling’s last days with the franchise, shares his memories of being part of one of the most poorly run teams in professional sports. The panel also discusses whether Sterling should have been banned from the league sooner and if this will be the last time the NBA has to deal with a racist owner.
The Sterling Affairs can be downloaded now at www.30for30podcasts.com/sterling or wherever you get your podcasts.
