Why the GOATs won’t decide who wins Super Bowl LIII
Tom Brady and Aaron Donald may be two of the best ever, but other players will have more influence over who wins the big one
If New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady wins the Super Bowl on Sunday, he will be the first player in NFL history to win six Vince Lombardi Trophies, breaking his tie with Hall of Famer Charles Haley. But the victory is far from guaranteed, considering perennial All-Pro defensive lineman Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams will be hell-bent on following up the 20.5 sacks he accrued in the regular season with a dominant game against an offensive line that hasn’t let Brady get sacked the entire postseason. Although Brady and Donald are two of the best to play the game, The Undefeated’s senior writer Domonique Foxworth is convinced they will not be the ones who decide this season’s champion. Here’s who he thinks will have the biggest influence on the outcome of the game.
