Toronto Raptors assistant coach Phil Handy is the silver lining for Oakland, California, win or lose. Handy, who developed a reputation as one of the best skill development coaches in the NBA, grew up in Oakland. He went undrafted in 1995 and had a brief stint with the Golden State Warriors and the Portland Trail Blazers. Now as a Raptors assistant coach, making his fifth straight Finals appearance, Handy takes The Undefeated’s senior NBA writer Marc Spears down memory lane in his hometown.
